is a Vienna based sound artist from Italy. Her work maneuvers within tensions evoked by the substantial aspects of sound and improvised music. She challenges the sonic possibilities of modular synthesizers, thriving to release streams of thoughts at the margins of the unknown. Isabella Forciniti cooperated with Patrick Pulsinger, Burkhard Stangl, Antye Greie-Ripatti, Katharina Klement, Patrick K.H., Peter Kutin, Ryoko Akama as well as other artists. Forciniti was invited to different music festivals such as Wien Modern (AT), Time in Music (FI), Elevate Festival (AT), NEXT Advanced Music Festival (SK) and Darmstädter Ferienkurse (GER).
is a young composer of electronic music, deeply engaged with the intricacies of sonic textures, exploring their fragilities to build delicate pieces from and around them. He holds a university degree in both audio engineering and sound art and currently studies music composition at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz.
Steel Girls make metal speak in a practical, simple form, which makes sensual poetry possible. The rawness, the resistance and the hardness of the metal and particularly the steel is counteracted by the flexible. It is not just about the charm of production, like welding as performance, but also about the challenge of acoustics, the exhaustion of acoustic possibilities with and without electronics. The rawness is shaped and not standardized, the proportions are pushed into the light so that the sparks fly and something new can arise.
